Somebody in Leeds is sitting on £1,000,000 - but they only have until Thursday to claim their prize.

The National Lottery says a ticket bought in the city had the matching numbers to those drawn in the Lotto Millionaire Raffle on 10 October.

25 millionaires were created on the night - but the Leeds winner still hasn't claimed their prize.

For every Lotto line played, players automatically receive a Lotto Millionaire Raffle code printed on their ticket. The winning code on 10 October for the ticket bought in Leeds was BLUE 2873 7030 and the ticket-holder has until 7 April to claim the prize.

If no-one comes forward before the deadline, the prize money, plus all the interest it has generated, will go to National Lottery-funded projects across the UK.

A National Lottery spokesperson said: “We’re eager to find the mystery ticket-holder and unite them with their winnings – this amazing prize could really make a huge difference to somebody’s life.

“Try checking in the pockets of clothing, in wallets, bags and down the back of the sofa – someone out there is literally sitting on a fortune! We have the champagne on ice and our fingers crossed that the lucky winner comes forward to claim their winnings.”

With all National Lottery draws, players have 180 days from the day of the draw to claim their prize if they have the winning ticket.
