One Direction To Release Official Autobiography This September

One Direction will release their first joint autobiography this coming September.

Zayn, Liam, Harry, Louis and Niall have penned a deal with publishers HarperCollins to release the tell-it-all memoir together with an official 2015 calendar in the summer.

HarperCollins said of the autobiography: "Fans will discover how the boys have really felt over the last few years and their hopes and ambitions for the future.

"The One Direction official autobiography will offer an incredible insight and intimacy to the band as never before and will bring fans even closer to Harry, Niall, Liam, Louis and Zayn."

Publishing director Natalie Jerome added: "The boys are an absolute pleasure to work with and always strive to deliver more to their fans.

"It's a hugely exciting departure from the books we've published with them so far and there's a lot we're going to be doing that will make this an extra special experience for their loyal and devoted fans."

Since releasing their first official book Forever Young: Our Official X Factor Story in 2011, One Direction have sold an estimated three million books across the globe.

There have also been dozens of unofficial 1D book releases, all tapping into the highly lucrative market.
