The New York Post is reporting that Lady Gaga has been bitten by a Slow Loris, a small primate, while recording on the set in California. The incident took place while Gaga was shooting the music video for her next single 'G.U.Y (Girl Under You)'. Both Gaga and the Slow Loris, who was intended for use withing a scene for the video, are said to be unharmed.

Although large-eyed and seemingly harmless, the Slow Loris is actually a posionuss mammal with the potential to kill. The Loris stores a lethal toxin in a gland hidden on it's elbows and, when threatened, takes the toxin into its mouth and mixes it with saliva. The Loris will then deliver this toxin to it's vicitim with a venemous bite which is deadly to those who are allergic to the venom.

The slow loris is a primate from Asia, and each of its species are currently listed as either "vulnerable" or "endangered" by the International Union for Conversation of Nature.

Fortunately, Gaga is not allergic to the venom and did not suffer an anaphalatic shock. The musician is said to have laughed the incident off and was described as "a good sport".

Lady Gaga released her third album ARTPOP in 2013, which was commercially successfully but failed to make quite the impact of the two that came before it.
