Artists Could Have Youtube Music Videos Removed
Adele, Arctic Monkey and others could have their music videos taken down.
Adele is one of many artists who could have her music videos removed from video streaming service, Youtube.
The website could block all content from artists signed to independent and indie record labels that have failed to sign up to Youtube's new subscription service.
The subsciption service – which is rumoured to be called 'YouTube Music Pass' – will launch later in the year. The service will allow audiences to watch videos ad-free and download music to their devices at a small monthly fee.
90% of record labels have signed up to the new terms, while the remaining 10% will be blocked from the platform. These artists could face having their music videos removed within a 'matter of days'.
