Robbie Williams Breaks Fan’s Arm In Newcastle
A tumble off stage goes spectacularly wrong
Robbie Williams accidently broke a fan’s arm at a show in Newcastle last week.
During Robbie’s Swings Both Ways Live show at Newcastle Metro Arena on June 23rd, the singer walked down one of the stage runways to high five members of the sold-out crowd.
Leaning forward, Robbie tumbled into the audience and, after being helped back on stage by security guards, joked with the crowd “that went well.”
Robbie fan Margaret Nash was taken to hospital complaining of a pain in her arm. It now transpired that the 52-year-old had broken her arm.
Metro Radio Arena manager Paul Tappenden told The Telegraph: “Robbie was walking around on stage and missed his footing, and he fell on to the barrier between the stage and the crowd.
“Ms Nash was leaning against the barrier and we later found out that she had broken her arm. We dealt with her injuries here on the night.”
Robbie’s production team have reportedly been in contact with Ms Nash.
