Amber Heard starts battle for Johnny Depp's $400m fortune two days after his mother's death
Couple divorcing after 15 months
Actress Amber Heard is reportedly filing for divorce from Johnny Depp just two days after his mother passed away.
81-year-old Betty Sue Palmer passed away on the 20th May after a long illness and it’s believed she and her son had a close relationship. Two days later Amber began the divorce process allegedly citing 'irreconcilable differences’ and asking for spousal support.
The Pirates of the Caribbean actor has asked the judge to dismiss the claim for spousal support. Unfortunately the actor does not have a pre-nup.
Johnny, said to be worth $400 million, had been spotted without his wedding ring on the red carpet of his new film Alice Through The Looking Glass.

The pair met on set of The Rum Diary in 2012 and married in February 2015.
The famous couple last appeared together to make a public apology after the pair were charged with bringing their dogs into Australia aboard Johnny's private jet, without declaring them, while he was recording the fifth Pirates of the Caribbean film.
Amber was issued a one-month good behaviour bond of $1,000 after she admitted to falsifying documents. Johnny Depp has two children from a previous marriage to French singer Vanessa Paradis, 16-year-old Lily Rose and 14-year-old Jack John.
