How can I listen on my Smart Speaker?
Amazon Alexa: "Alexa, play Absolute Radio."
Google Home: "Ok Google, play Absolute Radio on Tune-In."
Apple HomePod: "Hey Siri, play Absolute Radio."
Why am I hearing Greatest Hits Radio on Absolute Radio's FM frequency in London?
There are limited FM frequencies available in London, and so our parent company Bauer Media has made the decision to reallocate one of the already available frequencies (105.8FM) to Greatest Hits Radio. But don't worry there are still lots of ways to listen to us.
If you’d like to share your views further, you can contact us here.
I only have FM radio in my car, how can I still listen to Absolute Radio?
Great news, with a low-cost DAB converter or adapter you'll still be able to listen to us in your car. You can also listen to all our other stations in the Absolute Radio family too.
You can also download the Rayo app on your phone and connect to us via Bluetooth or USB connector. Just type 'Rayo' into your app store on your phone and you can download the app for free.
Why can I no longer listen to Absolute Radio on AM?
We think we sound better on digital, as it offers a much stronger signal and cuts out background noise.
Lots of you agree, which is why nearly all our audience listen to us digitally. Broadcasting on AM requires running an additional transmitter which is environmentally unfriendly and not cost-efficient given the small numbers of those listening here.
We’re sorry for those affected by the change, but we hope you find an alternative listening experience that works for you.
How do I listen to other Absolute Radio stations?
Absolute Radio has lots of stations you can listen to, including; Absolute Radio 60s, Absolute Radio 70s, Absolute 80s, Absolute Radio 90s, Absolute Radio 00s, Absolute Radio 10s, Absolute Radio 20s, Absolute Radio Classic Rock and Absolute Radio Country.
These are all available online, on your Smart Speaker and via our free Rayo app.
Listen to Absolute Radio Country and Classic Rock on DAB+
Absolute Radio Country and Classic Rock are now available in stereo across the UK thanks to DAB+. If you have a DAB+ enabled radio, it should automatically find new stations without the need to re-tune. However, if you can’t find the station you’re looking for, then you might need to re-scan.
Most radios sold in the last few years can access DAB+ services and almost all DAB car radios are DAB+ enabled. For more information about DAB+ view our frequently asked questions.
