Absolute Radio is celebrating the 75th Anniversary of VE Day in the only way we know how...by celebrating a whole decade of music!

For one day only Absolute Radio 40s will take to the air waves to celebrate the music of the era as well as those who made the ultimate sacrifice during the Second World War.

That's where you, our lovely listeners come in...

We want to hear the treasured stories and memories from you loved ones about that momentous occasion in 1945 and the years leading up to it. Get in touch with pictures and stories so we can celebrate and honour them on VE Day.

Tweet us your pictures and stories @AbsoluteRadio and use the hashtag #AR40s and we'll be collating your memories here to share with everyone.
