Radiohead's Thom Yorke to support Massive Attack
He'll play a special solo set at All Points East
Radiohead frontman Thom Yorke will support Massive Attack at All Points East at London’s Victoria Park on Sunday 24th May 2020.
Currently playing shows on his Tomorrow’s Modern Boxes tour alongside Radiohead producer Nigel Godrich and visual artist Tarik Barr, Thom Yorke’s special guest slot at All Points East will be a unique acoustic solo performance with piano.
Thom Yorke’s set will feature Radiohead tracks alongside songs from his solo back catalogue. He was personally asked to perform at All Points East by Massive Attack’s Robert "3D" Del Naja and Grant "Daddy G" Marshall.
Yorke joins a day bill that also boasts Nils Frahm, Young Fathers, Neneh Cherry, Sevdaliza, Fatoumata Diawara, TNGHT, GAIKA, Skinny Pelembe, Hotel Lux and Mad Professor.
Just like their ‘Mezzanine’ 20th anniversary shows last year, Massive Attack will once again be joining forces with acclaimed filmmaker Adam Curtis for the visuals at All Points East.
It’s described as “an extraordinary collaboration connecting the dark, intense music and visual work of Robert Del Naja of Massive Attack with the thought-provoking vision of documentary filmmaker Adam Curtis.”
Tickets to Massive Attack at All Points East are on sale from Absolute Radio Tickets right now.
Other All Points East shows already announced are Bombay Bicycle Club (Friday 22nd May), Tame Impala (Saturday 23rd May), Kraftwerk (Friday 29th May) and The Kooks & The Wombats (Saturday 30th May).
