The Vaccines graced Absolute Radio HQ this afternoon (30th September) for a very special live performance during Bush & Richie’s 24 Hour Jukebox.
Fresh from denting the UK album chart Top 5 with their acclaimed fifth-longer player ‘Back in Love City’ earlier this month, Justin Hayward-Young, Freddie Cowan, Árni Árnason, Timothy Lanham and Yoann Intonti treated us to a very special three-song set.
Broadcast during Bush & Richie’s 24 Hour Jukebox, which is raising vital funds for Teenage Cancer Trust, The Vaccines performed a rousing rendition of their seminal 2011 single ‘If You Wanna’ plus recent singles ‘Headphones Baby’ and ‘Alone Star.’
Together with performing live frontman Justin also joined Bush & Richie on air for a chat. Check out all three live performances below!

The inaugural Bush & Richie 24 Hour Jukebox marathon kicked off at 10am this morning (30th September) and the colossal show continues through to 10am tomorrow (Friday 1st October 2021).
Bush & Richie have already been joined on air by Joe Wicks, Mel Giedroyc and Absolute Radio’s very own Leona Graham, and they have more guests lined up for the coming hours.
Shortly before the 24-hour show reaches its epic conclusion tomorrow morning, Manic Street Preachers will perform a three-song set, including a rendition of their timeless anthem ‘A Design For Life.’
