The Strokes announce 'The New Abnormal'

New York indie rock icons The Strokes will release their sixth studio album ‘The New Abnormal’ on Friday 10th April 2020 via RCA Records.

Helmed by legendary producer Rick Rubin, The Strokes’ first album since March 2013’s ‘Comedown Machine’ features nine tracks including the lead single ‘At the Door’.

The Strokes’ frontman Julian Casablancas officially announced the album release date when they performed at a rally for Bernie Sanders in Durham, New Hampshire last night (10th February).

They debuted two new songs at the show – ‘Bad Decisions’ and ‘At the Door’ – after previously premiering the tracks ‘The Adults Are Talking’ and ‘Ode to the Mets’ at concerts last year.

To support the release of ‘The New Abnormal’, The Strokes are playing an ultra-intimate show at The Roundhouse in Camden in London on Wednesday 19th February 2020.

Fans who pre-order 'The New Abnormal' here before 5pm on Thursday 13th February get access to a ticket pre-sale window for the London show. General sale follows at 1pm on Friday (14th February).

The Strokes also headline NOS Alive in Portugal on Saturday 11th July 2020.
