The Rolling Stones are set to open an exclusive flagship store on London’s world-famous Carnaby Street called RS No. 9 Carnaby.

Launching on Wednesday 9th September 2020, RS No. 9 Carnaby has been created in partnership with Bravado, Universal Music Group’s merchandise and brand management company, and it will feature exclusive new Rolling Stones fashion and merchandise.

Enthusing about their new commercial venture, The Rolling Stones said: “Soho has always encapsulated Rock ’n’ Roll so Carnaby Street was the perfect spot for our own store.

“We are confident this exciting project that our friends at Bravado have created will be an unrivalled experience for everyone to come to London and enjoy.”

The fashion and merchandise under the RS No. 9 Carnaby brand will be available to buy both in-store and online, and items for sale include special Baccarat glassware has been developed with engraved with the Rolling Stones tongue, chairs and scarves from The Soloist, and raincoats and hats from premium Swedish raincoat brand Stutterheim.

Bowers & Wilkins speakers within the store will play classic Rolling Stones songs to visitors including the remastered Goats Head Soup album and the Scarlet single featuring Jimmy Page, plus the store’s window will feature a world first soundwave installation taken from the opening of the 1966 anthem ‘Paint It Black’.

Aesthetically, RS No. 9 Carnaby will introduce the official Stones Red colour taken from their iconic logo, the glass floor features Stones lyrics, and the fitting rooms bedecked with iconic album artwork from the band’s legendary history.

The Rolling Stones’ expansive reissue of ‘Goats Head Soup’ is released on Friday 4th September ahead of the store opening.

Back in April, The Rolling Stones premiered their first new song in eight years, ‘Living in A Ghost Town’, which they created and recorded in Los Angeles and London and during lockdown.
