Last updated 12th Feb 2023
The BRIT Awards 2023 with Mastercard ceremony took place at The O2 in London on Saturday 11th February.
The 43rd ceremony was once again graced by high profile figures from the music industry, and, fresh from their double win at The Grammys, Isle of Wight music sensations Wet Leg were one of the biggest winners of the night.
Picking up their Best New Artist gong, Wet Leg’s Rhian Teasdale poked fun at Alex Turner’s infamous speech when Arctic Monkeys won Best British Album for ‘AM’ in 2014.
For the second consecutive year, Absolute Radio proudly promoted the Alternative / Rock Act category at the BRITS with Arctic Monkeys, Wet Leg, The 1975, Nova Twins and Tom Grennan going head-to-head.
Presenters on the night included: Ellie Goulding, Salma Hayek Pinault, Daisy May Cooper, Jodie Turner Smith, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, Alex Scott, Naomi Ackie, Georgia May Jagger and Stanley Tucci.
