The special guest support acts have been revealed for the Teenage Cancer Trust at the Royal Albert Hall concert series later this month.

Cancelled over the past two years due to the pandemic, the charity music and comedy extravaganza takes over the world-famous Royal Albert Hall for a week from Monday 21st to Sunday 27th March 2022 with all proceeds raising vital funds for Teenage Cancer Trust.

Yesterday, Paul Weller and his band were unveiled as the special guests at Madness’ show on Thursday 24th March 2022, and now the other support acts across the week have been revealed.

Taking to the stage before Liam Gallagher on the Saturday night will be Hastings punk rockers Kid Kapichi and fast-ascending Liverpool indie-rockers RATS, while The Who will be joined by The Wild Things, a group formed by actor Sydney Rae White and Rob Kendrick when they met during the stage production of The Who’s Quadrophenia.

Elsewhere, acoustic pop megastar Ed Sheeran welcomes fellow Suffolk singer-songwriter Dylan to his Teenage Cancer Trust show, Yungblud invites electro rock livewires Nova Twins and Daisy Brain to the party, and Norfolk alt-rockers Deaf Havana will perform at Don Broco’s concert.

Judi Love has been added to the An Evening of Comedy night hosted by Joel Dommett. She joins the previously confirmed Tom Allen, Rob Beckett, Rosie Jones, Romesh Ranganathan, Suzi Ruffell and Seann Walsh.

Tickets to the Teenage Cancer Trust at the Royal Albert Hall concerts are on sale from Absolute Radio Tickets now.

With no TCT events happening over the past two years, the charity missed out on around £2 million in vital funds to support young people when they needed help most.

Commenting on the event’s return in 2022, Roger Daltrey said: “Live music has been hit hard by the pandemic and it has been particularly frustrating for me that we haven’t been able to get artists on stage to raise money for this vitally important cause.

“But we haven't given up.

“My wonderful team and I have pulled out all the stops to make this 20th series of shows for Teenage Cancer Trust the best ever. I am so grateful for the loyalty and continued support given to us by the music and comedy industries.

“The Who will be back on stage this year at the Hall alongside some wonderful talent. After the last two unbelievably difficult years, young people with cancer deserve everything we can do for them.”
