Including Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds
Last updated 20th Jan 2020
Stereophonics, Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, Groove Armada and Nile Rodgers & CHIC are the first four headliners confirmed for Teenage Cancer Trust at the Royal Albert Hall in March 2020.
Celebrating its 20th year in 2020, Teenage Cancer Trust’s week-long fundraising concert series takes place once again at the world-famous Royal Albert Hall from Monday 23rd March to Sunday 29th March.
Fresh from playing a major headline arena tour throughout February and March in support of their excellent new album ‘Kind’, Welsh indie rock icons Stereophonics will headline Teenage Cancer Trust at the Royal Albert Hall on Wednesday 25th March.
Stereophonics previously rocked the inaugural Teenage Cancer Trust gig series at the turn of the Millennium and come back full circle to top the bill at the 20th anniversary extravaganza.
Joining them as very special guest on the night is the Modfather himself, Paul Weller. The Jam and Style Council singer, and legendary solo artist in his own right, will play a stripped back acoustic set before Stereophonics take to the stage.
Famed for chart-denting hits like ‘I See You Baby’ and ‘Superstylin', electronic music duo Groove Armada – aka Andy Cato and Tom Findlay – will get the Royal Albert Hall bouncing on Thursday 26th March.
A man who needs very little introduction, former Oasis lynchpin Noel Gallagher and his Flying Birds will top the Teenage Cancer Trust at the Royal Albert Hall bill on Friday 27th March. Expect Oasis classics alongside material from his three acclaimed solo albums.
Confirmed to bring Teenage Cancer Trust at the Royal Albert Hall to an emphatic and triumphant close on Sunday 29th March are Nile Rodgers & CHIC. Truly one of the best live acts around, the disco-funk torchbearers’ set will be guaranteed ‘Good Times’.

Once again, the blockbuster line-up has been curated by The Who frontman and Teenage Cancer Trust Patron Roger Daltrey CBE. All proceeds go directly to the Teenage Cancer Trust, which is celebrating its 30th anniversary in 2020.
Roger Daltrey comments: “Once again we’ve got some incredible artists on the bill for 2020 and I can’t thank them enough for giving up their time for Teenage Cancer Trust. Since the first gig back in 2000 audiences have raised millions to fund Teenage Cancer Trust nurses, support teams and special hospital wards that have helped young people cope with some unimaginably hard times. Without Teenage Cancer Trust these specialist services would simply not be there.
“I’ve seen first-hand the difference this support makes to so many young people with cancer over the years and I’m beyond proud to be a part of the Teenage Cancer Trust team. Everyone who’s helped us achieve this is a hero in my book, and I’d like to thank everyone who has got us this far.
“Teenage Cancer Trust started out 30 years ago to change everything for young people with cancer. And that’s exactly what we’ve done. But we want a world where cancer doesn’t stop young people from living their lives-there’s so much more we need to do.
“This age group deserves these facilities and programmes in our NHS, but without your support for this charity they would not exist.
“By buying a ticket to these shows you will be helping this great cause do exactly that.”
Kate Collins, Chief Executive Officer, Teenage Cancer Trust, adds: “The leap forward in care that Teenage Cancer Trust has been able to provide to young people facing cancer over the past 30 years has only been possible thanks to our generous supporters – including our Royal Albert Hall artists and audiences. But much more needs to change, and we can’t wait another 30 years for that to happen.
“That’s we’re incredibly grateful for the amazing support from the artists getting involved in our 2020 gigs. It’s going to be an unforgettable experience and will help us support every young person with cancer who needs us.”
