Here's the full setlist for the Taylor Hawkins Tribute Concert in Los Angeles
The star-studded event took place last night
Following the triumphant and emotional show at London’s Wembley Stadium earlier this month, the second Taylor Hawkins Tribute Concert took place at the Kia Forum in Inglewood, California last night (27th September).
More intimate than the Wembley spectacular, the concert took place in front of just under 20,000 fans at the arena venue, and unlike the first event, it wasn’t able to watch on a livestream.
Echoing the first event, at 7pm the concert opened with Foo Fighters’ Dave Grohl, Nate Mendel, Pat Smear, Chris Shiflett and Rami Jaffee standing arm-in-arm onstage.
Dave Grohl told the capacity crowd: “This is the hometown s---, so you gotta make it loud. That dude could make you f---ing smile and laugh and dance and sing. It’s gonna be a long f---ing night.”
Dave’s daughter Violet Grohl was the first performer of the night with a rendition of Leonard Cohen’s ‘Hallelujah’ alongside Alain Johannes.
Fans in attendance were treated to a sprawling 50+ song setlist that culminated with a headline set from Foo Fighters.
There were also some different star guests who didn’t appear at the first concert, including Def Leppard, Miley Cyrus, Joan Jett, Mötley Crüe, Heart’s Nancy Wilson, Tool’s Danny Carey, Alanis Morissette, Sebastian Bach, Black Sabbath’s Geezer Butler, The Pretty Reckless’ Taylor Momsen, Nirvana’s Kirst Novoselic, Dave Chappelle, Soundgarden’s Kim Thayil and Matt Cameron, and P!nk.
