Actor Matt King, who plays Super Hans in Peep Show, has revealed he has never watched a single episode of the iconic show.

Writing on Twitter, Matt King told his followers that he doesn’t remember many of Super Hans’ edgy comments as he hasn’t watched Peep Show.

“Yes, sometimes I do forget things Hans said in Peep Show,” King wrote. “Because I've never sat down and watched an episode. Ever. Mainly cos I hate watching myself. So some of the very funny things I said TWENTY f---ing years ago, may on occasion, slip my mind.”

He added the hashtag: “#thiscrackisreallyaddictive”, which is a play on Super Hans’ infamous line: “I’ll tell you what, that crack is really more-ish.”

First introduced as Jeremy’s friend, the hilarious Super Hans is a paranoid and untrustworthy fantasist in Peep Show who often takes recreational drugs during his debauched escapades.

Super Hans on the general public: “People like Coldplay and voted for the Nazis. You can’t trust people.”

Super Hans on grief: “You should drop acid at the funeral. Make it more intense. That’s what I did at me old man’s. It was f---ing mental. I was crying and laughing. Didn’t know who was dead and who was alive.”

Super Hans on attending music festivals: "A band does not take a stash to a fest. You are a VI-motherhumping-P. Just open your gob and someone will slip in something tasty: a pill, a nipple, a nice bit of fried halloumi. Lovely.”

Starring David Mitchell and Robert Webb as Mark and Jeremy, Peep Show premiered on Channel 4 two decades ago in 2003. It ran for nine series and finished in December 2015.
