Watch Shed Seven perform four classic songs for Absolute Radio
Including 'Chasing Rainbows' and 'Going For Gold'
To celebrate the start of their epic UK tour, indie icons Shed Seven have performed a live session for Absolute Radio.
First broadcast during Danielle Perry’s evening show last night (25th November), Rick Witter and co. kicked off their four-song set with ‘Victoria’ from their 2017 album ‘Instant Pleasures.’
The band then treated us to a rousing rendition of their classic 1996 anthem ‘Chasing Rainbows’ and 1998’s ‘The Heroes’ before ending on a barnstorming high with their Top 10 smash ‘Going For Gold.’
Watch Shed Seven perform live for Absolute Radio:
After kicking off in Aberdeen last night, Shed Seven’s massive 21-date Another Night, Another Town: The Greatest Hits Live Tour continues with two sold-out shows at Glasgow Barrowland tonight and tomorrow.
Featuring special guests Reverend and The Makers, Shambolics, Lottery Winners and Serotones at select dates, the tour concludes three days before Christmas in Manchester.
Shed Seven’s trek follows the 25th anniversary of Shed Seven’s breakthrough second studio album ‘A Maximum High’ back in April. The album spawned the huge anthems ‘Where Have You Been Tonight?’, ‘Getting Better', ‘Going For Gold’, ‘Bully Boy’ and ‘On Standby’.
Rick Witter says of the tour: “After what has been going on in the world, we can’t wait to get out there and play what has become a biennial Christmas tradition in ‘Shedcember’.
“You can expect the usual set, full of our hits, with a few surprises thrown in, and we can’t wait to hit the road. See you down the front.”
