They've written a track together

Happy Mondays vocalist Shaun Ryder has written a song with Robbie Williams, which they plan to release in spring 2021.
The unlikely duo have bonded over a shared penchant for extra-terrestrial life after Robbie Williams watched Shaun Ryder’s 2013 TV series ‘Shaun Ryder On UFOs.’
Williams explains: “I saw bits of Shaun’s UFO show, I’ve spoken to Shaun about it. Shaun told me, ‘Right, it (UFO) was just by a tree in front of me. They come all the time Rob.”
Revealing the musical collaboration, Williams added to the Adam Buxton podcast: “Me and (Shaun Ryder) have done a song together.
“Quite often I try and channel Shaun Ryder when I’m writing songs. The song will emerge, plans change all the time, but hopefully sometime in the spring (2021).”
Unfortunately, Robbie didn’t reveal whether the song was UFO themed, however we can live in hope.
Williams did add that he hopes to follow in Shaun Ryder’s footsteps by having his own show on TV about UFOs and other strange goings on: “It is thrilling to see those things, it will become God willing if I get to stay alive for another 25 years, a quest that I go on for a TV show or something like that, where I go and examine my own experiences.
“It may be mental illness, or it may be that there’s something to it… What I do think, is this. I think something is up, that’s what I think, I think something’s up.
“I read everything to do with conspiracies, with UFOs, with Big Foot, with ghosts, with ghouls, with absolutely everything, folklore, myth... I don’t believe anything other than something is up.”
Former blink-182 star Tom DeLonge is currently starring in the second season of Unidentified: Inside America's UFO Investigation; the extra-terrestrial documentary series he also executive produces on Sky History.
