Watch Sea Girls perform 'Sick', 'Hometown' and Christmas classic for Absolute Radio
Exclusive set for Absolute Radio's Virtual Office Christmas Party
Sea Girls joined Bush & Richie during the Hometime Show this evening (17th December) for a very special live performance during Absolute Radio’s Virtual Office Christmas Party.
Returning for a second year in 2021, Absolute Radio’s Virtual Office Christmas Party kicked off during The Dave Berry Breakfast Show this morning when indie-rock legends Feeder became Dave’s in-house band.
Leona Graham and Ben Burrell then broke the usual Christmas Party DJ rule of no requests playing your song choices all day and doing secret Santa with incredible prizes. And the night culminates with an exclusive DJ set from the Dixon Brothers.
Chart-conquering London indie rockers Sea Girls were the second house band of the day on Hometime with Bush & Richie, and they positively dazzled with their incredible three-song performance.
Henry Camamile, Rory Young, Andrew Dawson and Oli Khan treated listeners to live renditions of the stadia-ready anthem ‘Hometown’ and their Absolute Radio playlisted banger ‘Sick.’
The mini set reached its zenith, however, when the Rory, Andre and Oli donned their Christmas jumpers (Henry looked far too cool in his leather jacket for such antics) and Sea Girls performed a cover of ‘Christmas Is All Around’ – Billy Nighy’s reinvented version of ‘Love is All Around’ by The Troggs from the 2003 movie Love Actually.
