Sam Fender, The Libertines and more for Victorious Festival 2022
The second wave of artists are revealed
Sam Fender, Paolo Nutini, The Libertines and Primal Scream are among the fresh wave of acts confirmed for Victorious Festival 2022.
Taking place in Portsmouth on the Bank Holiday weekend of Friday 26th to Sunday 28th August 2022, Victorious Festival once again boasts a phenomenal line-up.
BRIT Award winning music sensation Sam Fender will close the event on the Sunday night, while Paolo Nutini has been confirmed as the Saturday night headliner. They both join the previously confirmed Friday headliners Stereophonics.
Other new additions include Primal Scream and The Libertines who take the Friday and Sunday special guest slots respectively, plus Anne-Marie, Bastille, Example, Inhaler, White Lies, Suede, Ocean Colour Scene, Editors, Amy McDonald, Turin Brakes, The Subways, Andy C and Hot Chip Megamix.
Hosted by Rosie Jones and Suzi Ruffell, the comedy line-up has also been revealed with Katherine Ryan, Joel Dommett, Russell Kane and Milton Jones all performing.
The second wave of artists join a Victorious Festival bill that boasts James, The Wombats, Declan McKenna, Sugababes, Nothing But Thieves, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Self Esteem, We Are Scientists, Becky Hill, Little Man Tate, Baby Queen, Coach Party, Worry Worry and Sam Ryder.
Speaking about this year's festival Andy Marsh, festival director, said: ‘‘We can’t wait for this year’s festival, we built the excitement with our first wave of artists and we’re thrilled to be able to announce even more amazing acts for 2022. Stay tuned as we’ve got even more acts to announce between now and the festival!”
