Rick Astley has posted a video on social media of him performing an acoustic cover of R.E.M’s hit ‘The One I Love’.

Sharing the video on his Twitter on Valentine’s Day, Rick wrote, ‘If there is someone out there you're thinking of today, this is for you - Rick x’

The ‘Never Gonna Give You Up’ singer’s fans showed their love for the video.

One fan replied, ‘Wow! Very nice Rick’ and another commented, ‘Amazing. The voice is still there. Hoping for a safe and happy year Rick.’

‘The One I Love’ was originally released by American rock band R.E.M in 1987 and reached number nine in the US Billboard Hot 100 chart. The track was re-released in the UK in 1991 and reached number 16 in the UK singles chart.
