Red Hot Chili Peppers announce summer 2022 UK stadium tour

Los Angeles funk rock icons Red Hot Chili Peppers have announced three UK stadium shows for June and July 2022.

Singer Anthony Kiedis, bassist Flea, drummer Chad Smith and returning guitarist John Frusciante revealed they were going on a global stadium trek last month when they shared a hilarious mock news report from the KHOT News Room.

Red Hot Chili Peppers have this afternoon confirmed that the world stadium tour will call in at 32 cities and it kicks off in Seville, Spain on Saturday 4th June 2022 and wraps up in Arlington, Texas on Sunday 18th September 2022.

The three-date UK leg calls in at Manchester Emirates Old Trafford (Wednesday 22nd June), London Stadium (Saturday 25th June) and Glasgow Bellahouston Park (Friday 1st July).

Red Hot Chili Peppers will be performing classic hits from their 39-year back catalogue together with songs from their upcoming 12th studio album.

Tickets to Red Hot Chili Peppers’ stadium shows in Manchester, London and Glasgow go on sale from Absolute Radio Tickets at 10am on Friday 15th October 2021.

Support in Manchester comes from A$AP Rocky and Thundercat, while London and Glasgow will feature Anderson .Paak & The Free Nationals, and Thundercat.

Red Hot Chili Peppers' last UK shows took place in December 2016 when they embarked on an eight-date arena tour in support of their last album ‘The Getaway.’

Since their inception in 1983, Red Hot Chili Peppers have sold more than 80 million records worldwide.
