Indie icons Razorlight have added five dates to their upcoming April 2023 tour.

Expanded to 17 shows across the length and breadth of the UK, the trek will now open at Cardiff Great Hall on Friday 7th April before visiting Brighton Dome, Lincoln Engine Shed, Edinburgh The Assembly Rooms and Liverpool Uni Mountford Hall.

Tickets to the quintet of new Razorlight tour dates go on sale from Absolute Radio Tickets at 9am on Friday 9th December.

The extensive run of concerts next spring are Razorlight’s first tour dates with the classic line-up of Johnny Borrell, Andy Burrows, Björn Ågren and Carl Dalemo in over a decade.

Razorlight

Drummer Andy Burrows and singer Johnny Borrell buried the hatchet in the summer of 2020, and it sparked a classic line-up reunion the following year.

The reunited quartet release their career-spanning compilation album ‘Razorwhat? The Best Of Razorlight’’ on Friday 9th December and it features two new tracks ‘You Are Entering The Human Heart’ and ‘Violence Forever?’

Andy Burrows says: “Whilst our relationship hasn’t always been plain sailing, when Johnny and I sit down to write music together, there’s a magic that happens. I’m so grateful to have him and the band back in my life.”

Johnny Borrell comments: “My trust with Andy was at absolute zero so to get that back was really inspiring. That’s never happened before and it made me think a lot about my life, like if I can get my trust back with Andy, I could do it with anybody.”
