Rag'n'Bone Man has premiered the spectacular Nothing But Thieves remix of his Absolute Radio playlisted anthem ‘Alone.’

Nothing But Thieves’ remixed version of ‘Alone’ sees the Southend-on-Sea quintet switch the electronic beats and synths of the original for epic guitars and pulsating bass and drums to give it a rock edge.

Lead singer Conor Mason also trades vocals with Rag'n'Bone Man to startling effect.

Commenting on the Nothing But Thieves remix, Rag'n'Bone Man said: “Most singles I've released so far come with remixes and sometimes it's a bit difficult to imagine what it’s going to be like - especially if it's dance or drum & bass.

“With Alone, I felt like that wasn't going to be possible and I had to think outside the box. I remember seeing Nothing But Thieves at some festivals previously and thinking how amazing they were - I love their sound. I think they've done a really interesting version of this song and it's a real honour to have them on the track.”

Listen to Rag'n'Bone Man’s ‘Alone’ (Nothing But Thieves remix):

Following ‘All You Ever Wanted’ and the Pink collaboration ‘Anywhere Away from Here’, ‘Alone’ is lifted from Rag'n'Bone Man’s second studio album ‘Life by Misadventure’, which stormed straight in at Number 1 in the UK back in May.

Rag'n'Bone Man wrote ‘Alone’ about a female friend who was judged by her family for not marrying and having kids.

“I really feel for women, because men don’t get that kind of pressure from their families,” Rag'n'Bone Man comments.

Nothing But Thieves recently released their new 5-track EP ‘Moral Panic II’ via RCA Records/Sony Music, which was the follow-up to their critically lauded and commercially successful third studio album ‘Moral Panic’ from 2020.

Rag'n'Bone Man plays a series of headline UK shows throughout October and November. Head to Absolute Radio Tickets to check ticket availability.
