He'll perform a special acoustic set

The Modfather himself Paul Weller has been added to the Teenage Cancer Trust at the Royal Albert Hall concert series later this month.
Paul Weller & Band will perform an acoustic set on Thursday 24th March 2022 as very special guests to headliners Madness.
The live performance follows the release of Paul Weller’s critically acclaimed and chart-topping album ‘Fat Pop (Volume 1)’ and 2020’s ‘On Sunset.’
Back after a three-year absence due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the Teenage Cancer Trust at the Royal Albert Hall concert series is headlined by The Who (acoustic), Liam Gallagher, Ed Sheeran, Yungblud and Don Broco.
The Tuesday night (22nd March) will feature An Evening of Comedy hosted by Joel Dommett with special guests Tom Allen, Rob Beckett, Rosie Jones, Romesh Ranganathan, Suzi Ruffell and Seann Walsh.

With no TCT events happening over the past two years, the charity missed out on around £2 million in vital funds to support young people when they needed help most.
Commenting on the event’s return in 2022, Roger Daltrey said: “Live music has been hit hard by the pandemic and it has been particularly frustrating for me that we haven’t been able to get artists on stage to raise money for this vitally important cause.
“But we haven't given up.
“My wonderful team and I have pulled out all the stops to make this 20th series of shows for Teenage Cancer Trust the best ever. I am so grateful for the loyalty and continued support given to us by the music and comedy industries.
“The Who will be back on stage this year at the Hall alongside some wonderful talent. After the last two unbelievably difficult years, young people with cancer deserve everything we can do for them.”
