Electronic music legends Orchestral Manoeuvres In The Dark have announced a 15-date UK tour for November 2021.
As the title suggests, the Architecture and More UK Tour will see the Wirral band perform tracks from their 1981 album ‘Architecture & Morality’ together with other tracks from their distinguished back catalogue.
Celebrating its 40th anniversary in 2021, ‘Architecture & Morality’ was critically lauded upon its release and spawned the international smash hits 'Souvenir', 'Joan ov Arc' and 'Maid of Orleans (The Waltz Joan of Arc).’
The tour opens at Glasgow O2 Academy on Monday 1st November 2021 and calls in at Edinburgh, Gateshead, Hull, Leeds, Cambridge, Leicester, Cardiff, Birmingham, London, Bournemouth, Brighton, Oxford and Manchester before concluding with a homecoming gig of sorts at Liverpool Empire on Sunday 21st November 2021.

OMD recently announced a 40th anniversary limited edition 12” coloured vinyl release of legendary anti-war hit single ‘Enola Gay’ - out Nov 27th, and an extremely special live streamed show from London’s Indigo at The O2 on March 27th, 2021 @ 9.00pm - postponed from its original date of October 24th due to Covid travelling restrictions & Andy’s ongoing symptoms.
The show is set to raise money and awareness for their crew, whose livelihoods have been so affected in the wake of the global Covid-19 pandemic.
