Oasis have reportedly been offered four huge Knebworth shows for 2026
US and European festivals are also said to have made offers
Offers are apparently rolling in off the back of the huge success of the ongoing Oasis reunion.
According to The Sun, one of the biggest is for four huge shows at Knebworth House next year, to mark the 30th anniversary of the band’s previous appearance at the historic venue.
Oasis played two nights at Knebworth in 1996 and, as the publication pointed out, it would also beat the band’s “old foe” Robbie Williams, who played to a record-breaking 375,000 fans over three nights in 2003.
Festivals including Coachella in the US and Benicassim in Spain are reported to have made offers and other rumours include the possibility of a residency at Manchester City’s Etihad Stadium.
The Sun quoted an insider, who works for a major promoter, as saying: “I could see all of this happening.
“There is so much on the table but it’s whether Noel and Liam want to do it.”
However, a source close to the band reportedly said that Oasis have no plans yet for 2026 and will first take a “well-earned holiday”.
They added: “The Oasis reunion hasn’t just been concerts. You can see that it’s been a cultural movement. Nothing comes close in recent history to Oasis’s shows.
“It’s a question of whether Noel and Liam want to draw a line in the sand and close the door on this chapter, knowing they captured the zeitgeist. Or do they strike it up again and keep the magic going? It’s a difficult decision to make.”
