Ian Brown, Catfish & The Bottlemen & more for Neighbourhood Weekender
It returns next May
Last updated 2nd Mar 2020
The blockbuster line-up for the Neighbourhood Weekender 2020 has been revealed.
Warrington native Ian Brown will have the prestigious honour of headlining Victoria Park on Saturday 23rd May 2020 in what will be his first major headline solo performance in almost a decade.
Ian Brown homecoming show also marks four years since The Stone Roses took over Manchester’s Etihad Stadium for an epic four-night residency in June 2016.
The singer released his self-produced solo album ‘Ripples’ earlier this year and it dented the UK album chart at number four.
Fresh from recent playing a tiny Absolute Radio Live show at London’s ULU, the mighty Catfish & The Bottlemen will headline Neighbourhood Weekender on the Sunday night.
The headline slot next May follows a triumphant 2019 for the Llandudno’s beloved sons, which has seen them perform at festivals around the globe, sell out a UK arena tour and unleash their chart-denting third studio album ‘The Balance’.
Also on the impressive bill are Sam Fender, Paul Heaton & Jacqui Abbott, Shed Seven, Pale Waves, Yungblud, Miles Kane, Tom Walker, Reverend & The Makers, Sundara Karma, Sea Girls, The Coral, The Magic Gang, The Sherlocks, Lightning Seeds and The Pigeon Detectives.
Completing the line-up announcement are The Murder Capital, Rolling Blackouts Coastal Fever, Inhaler, The Big Moon, Sports Team, Fickle Friends, Love Fame Tragedy, Red Rum Club, The Lathums, The Orielles, The Mysterines, Working Mens Club, Bloxx, Alfie Templeman, The Reytons, Boniface, Phoebe Green, George Cosby, Noisy, The Goa Express and Airways.
Neighbourhood Weekender takes place at Victoria Park in Warrington on Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th May 2020. Tickets go on sale from Absolute Radio Tickets at 9.30am on Friday 22nd November.
