15 long years since their last headline fabled appearance at Seaclose Park, Teignmouth’s prodigal sons Muse returned to cinch presents Isle of Wight Festival 2022 to bring the weekend to a spectacular close.

As always with Matt Bellamy, Chris Wolstenholme and Dominic Howard, the triumphant set was an audio-visual feast and it boasted killer songs, a jaw-dropping stage setup, eyebrow singing pyrotechnics, weird Squid Game-esque masks, a robot glove synthesiser and much more.

For the next month, Absolute Radio has exclusive highlights from Muse’s IOW performance, which you can listen to below.

Alongside classic songs ‘Plug In Baby’, ‘Starlight’ and ‘Uprising’, the highlights include a barnstorming rendition of riff-heavy anthem ‘Won’t Stand Down’ (featuring a snippet of Slipknot’s ‘Duality’) and a synth-tastic ‘Compliance.’
