Manic Street Preachers will release a deluxe edition of their second studio album ‘Gold Against The Soul’ on Friday 12th June 2020.

Originally released on 21st June 1993, the follow-up to Manic Street Preachers’ seminal debut album ‘Generation Terrorists’ peaked at number 8 on the UK album chart and spawned the singles ‘From Despair To Where’, ‘La Tristesse Durera (Scream to a Sigh)’, ‘Roses in the Hospital’ and ‘Life Becoming a Landslide’.

Available to pre-order right now, the ‘Gold Against The Soul’ reissue is available to buy as a deluxe CD book costing £45. It features a limited edition, 120-page hardbound A4 book, featuring incredible unseen images from the band’s long-time photographic collaborator Mitch Ikeda, annotated by Nicky Wire plus handwritten lyric sheets.

The book also includes 2 CDs comprising the original album plus 11 previously unheard tracks across demos, b sides, remixes and a live recording of the Clash track ‘What’s My Name’, all remastered by James Dean Bradfield.
