Liam Gallagher says he'll only sing Oasis songs and one cover on Definitely Maybe tour
There will be no solo tracks
Liam Gallagher has told fans he won’t perform any solo songs on his upcoming Definitely Maybe 30th anniversary UK tour.
The 51-year-old indie icon plays a series of completely sold-out UK arena shows in June 2024 where he’ll perform Oasis' landmark debut album ‘Definitely Maybe’ from start to finish.
Prior to the tour being announced, Liam confirmed he will also perform “naughty” Oasis B-sides including ‘Half the World Away’ and ‘Cloudburst’ on his 2024 trek.
Answering fans questions on X this week, Liam was asked whether songs from his three chart-topping solo albums ‘As You Were’, ‘Why Me? Why Not’ and ‘C’mon You Know’ will make the encore at the shows.
Ruling it out, Liam replied: “No solo stuffs def maybe album b sides I am the walrus that’s well worth 8 grand a ticket.”
A live recording of Oasis covering The Beatles’ ‘I Am The Walrus’ at the Gleneagles Hotel was included as a B-side to ‘Cigarettes & Alcohol’ in 1994 and it was also an Oasis live staple.
Oasis' 'Definitely Maybe' has sold more than 15 million copies worldwide including 2.4 million in the band's home nation.
