Liam Gallagher fears mole in Oasis' crew following band line-up leak
"BIGMOUTHS talking to the press are gonna get dealt with."
Liam Gallagher has taken to social media to voice his concern at a "mole" within the Oasis camp leaking information about the band’s 2025 touring line-up.
Earlier today, NME ran an exclusive story quoting unnamed sources who have apparently revealed who is taking to the road with Liam and Noel Gallagher.
According to the report, Oasis alumni Paul ‘Bonehead’ Arthurs (guitar), Gem Archer (guitar) and Andy Bell (bass) are all confirmed to play on the Oasis Live in ‘25 tour.
They will be joined by drummer Joey Waronker, who has played with Beck, R.E.M. and Roger Waters, and also Liam Gallagher and John Squire on their 2024 album and tour.
Waronker was also a member of Radiohead frontman Thom Yorke and Red Hot Chili Peppers bassist Fleas's experimental side-project Atoms for Peace.
Blasting the leak, Liam Gallagher wrote on X: "NME tell me who your source pots are that keep giving you info about OASIS and I’ll give you an exclusive interview about up n coming OASIS tour you can have it all but how much do you want it LG x"
He continued later: "It’s not the lineup reveal I’m bothered about I’ll reveal that to you in a minute I’m more bothered about the line where it says a source close to the band and tour that really causes me a great deal of concern.".
When an X follower asked about why he’s agreeing to do an interview after previously saying Oasis won’t be conducting any for their reunion, Liam responded: "I want to know who the bands close sources are there saying we have a mole in the crew."
Liam wrote to another follower: "We’re not messing about this time any BIGMOUTHS talking to the press are gonna get dealt with.”
The reported Oasis band line-up:
Paul ‘Bonehead’ Arthurs - guitar
Quoting unnamed 'sources', NME says that Paul 'Bonehead' Arthurs will indeed be playing guitar with Oasis.
Gem Archer - guitar
Gem Archer, who played with Oasis from 1999 to 2009 and was a member of Beady Eye and Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds, will apparently be the band's second guitarist.
Andy Bell - bass
On bass, Andy Bell is said to be returning to the Oasis fold following his stint from his 1999 until their split in 2009. The Ride and Hurricane #1 was also a member of Beady Eye.
Joey Waronker - drums
The only curveball and "new" member that Liam Gallagher teased on X is drummer Joey Waronker, who has played with Beck, R.E.M. and Roger Waters. He was also a member of Radiohead frontman Thom Yorke and Red Hot Chili Peppers bassist Fleas's experimental side-project Atoms for Peace. He also performed on the 'Liam Gallagher John Squire' album in 2024 and hit the road with them.
