Liam Gallagherhas issued an apology to his fans after he abandoned his show at Beauregard Music Festival in France on Friday night (8th July).

After struggling with his voice throughout the opening six songs of his headline performance, Liam Gallagher walked off stage midway through Oasis classic ‘Stand By Me’ and didn’t return.

Many fans in attendance shared videos of Gallagher exiting the stage – with some citing sound issues as the cause of the issue.

On Saturday, Liam Gallagher issued a statement on Twitter confirming that he cut short the show due to a bout of laryngitis and he was also cancelling his gig at Cognac Blues Passions on Sunday night (10th July).

“Apologies to everyone who came out to Festival Bureaugard last night, I was so disappointed to have to cut the set short,” Gallagher wrote.

“I have been diagnosed today with laryngitis and am on Doctors orders to get some rest. Unfortunately, that means I have to cancel my upcoming show in Cognac…”

He added: “I never want to let anyone down am really sorry for any disappointment but I have to put my health first LG x”

Liam Gallagher has performed a series of massive shows this summer including two sold-out nights at Knebworth and a homecoming gig at Manchester Eithad Stadium.

He will end the summer in style with a show at Cardiff Bay on Thursday 15th September. Tickets are on sale from Absolute Radio Tickets now.
