He was performing his fifth song

Liam Gallagher was forced to axe his Hamburg gig during the fifth song last night (Wednesday 5th February) due to an issue with his voice.
The former Oasis frontman was performing ‘Come Back To Me’ from his 2017 debut solo album ‘As You Were’ when he made a hand gesture to his band mates and walked off stage.
Certain members of the audience at the 7,000 Alsterdorfer Sporthalle booed Liam as he exited.
He was only five songs into his setlist after opening with the Oasis classic ‘Rock N’ Roll Star’ and battling through his solo songs ‘Halo’, ‘Shockwave’ and ‘Wall of Glass’.
You can watch the watch the moment Liam walked off stage here:
Liam took to Twitter immediately afterwards to apologies to fans and explain that it was down to an unspecified voice issue.
He wrote: “Sorry to everybody who came to the gig tnight in Hamburg my voice was not there and if I’d have carried on I’d have done more damage to it I love you all and hope you understand I’ll make it up to you LG x”.
The gig in Hamburg was only Liam’s third show of 2020 after he opened his European tour in Stockholm, Sweden on Sunday night (2nd February) before playing Copenhagen in Denmark on Tuesday (4th February).
The tour is scheduled to resume at the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam tomorrow night (7th February). At the time of writing, the show is scheduled to go ahead as planned.
In the latest instalment of the Gallagher brothers saga, earlier this week Liam claimed his “greedy soul” older brother Noel Gallagher had turned down a lucrative £100 million for an Oasis reunion.
A day later, Noel took to Twitter to shut down his Liam’s comments, writing: “To whoever might be arsed. I am not aware of any offer from anybody for any amount of money to reform the legendary Mancunian Rock’n’Roll group Oasis.
“I am fully aware though that someone has a single to promote so that’s maybe where the confusion lies.”
Noel was referring to Liam’s latest single ‘Once’, which features Manchester United legend Eric Cantona in the video.
Oasis officially split in August 2009 just days after they aborted their headline appearance at V Festival in Chelmsford.
Noel broke the news on the band’s official website, writing: “It is with some sadness and great relief...I quit Oasis tonight. People will write and say what they like, but I simply could not go on working with Liam a day longer.”
