'Bing Crosby would have been proud', claims Liam
Oasis frontman turned all-conquering solo star, Liam Gallagher, has premiered the lyric video for his Christmas song ‘All You’re Dreaming Of’.
Previously described by Liam as John Lennon’s ‘Imagine’ meets the A Wonderful Life, ‘All You're Dreaming Of’ is a poignant song that centres on plaintive piano plonks and Liam’s heartfelt voice.
Commenting on its message of hope after such a turbulent 2020, Liam Gallagher says: "All You’re Dreaming Of is an instant classic that is perfect for this time of year. Considering the year that we’ve all had, I hope this brings back some much-needed love and hope. Bing Crosby would have been proud."
‘All You’re Dreaming Of’ is available to download right now with a vinyl formats following on Friday 18th December. Proceeds from the release until 31st December will go directly to the charity Action For Children, which provides vital practical and emotional support to children and young people.

‘All You’re Dreaming Of’ was co-written by Liam Gallagher alongside Ivor Novello winner Simon Aldred, with Andrew Wyatt, who helmed both of Liam’s chart-topping solo studio albums, on production duties.
Simon Aldred said: "During the first lockdown when everything was looking uncertain and people were struggling to remain optimistic, Liam and I spoke about how there weren't enough songs of hope. We set out to write a song that imagined a parent singing to their child about the importance of holding onto dreams and innocence, the capacity to disappear inside yourself and imagine a better future. A lullaby of hope.
“It was never meant to a Christmas song. But then Liam said, 'I can see New York shop windows, and snow outside, this reminds me of being a kid at Christmas when life was normal.' And so we reimagined it with that in mind.”
Liam Gallagher is set to make a suitably biblical return to performing on Saturday 5th December with ‘Down By The River Thames’, which will be streamed globally, exclusively on MelodyVR.
Liam also appears on The Jonathan Ross Show on Saturday night (28th November) on ITV and he revealed that brother Noel turned down a massive £100 million for an Oasis reunion.
