KISS announce 2021 tour dates
The European leg of the End of the Road World Tour reconvenes next summer
KISS have confirmed they will return to Europe in summer 2021 for a series of headline shows.
The band’s swansong End of the Road World Tour will now reconvene at Sportspalais in Antwerp, Belgium on Wednesday 2nd June 2021 and takes in shows in France, Germany, Poland, Sweden, Finland, Switzerland, Spain, Czech Republic, Italy and Hungary.
Many of the concerts are rescheduled from KISS’s summer 2020 European tour, which was postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic, and a handful are additional dates.
Further concerts will be announced at a later date. Unfortunately, the band are unable to reschedule shows in Sandnes (Norway), Kaunas (Lithuania), Lisbon (Portugal), Gliwice (Poland) and Sofia (Bulgaria).
KISS singer Paul Stanley enthuses: “We are waiting. We are ready. When we are told everyone is safe and this pandemic is over, we will shake the earth and rock your world as always and as never before.”
Bassist Gene Simmons adds: “We can't wait for this pandemic to be over, and for all of you to be safe. We are planning to rock your world, once it is safe out there, for all of you and for us. See you in Europe”
Following a short run of triumphant UK arena shows in July 2019, KISS were due to headline Download Festival last month as part of their multi-year End of the Road World Tour.
KISS’s European tour in 2021 does conveniently coincide with Download Festival, which takes place from 4th to 6th June, however organisers are yet to announce the line-up.
KISS had previously announced that their last ever show would take place at an unspecified New York venue on 17th July 2021, however, with the European tour running until at least 15th July it’s extremely likely this gig will be pushed back.
