Hear: The Killers’ synth-soaked new single ‘Your Side Of Town’
New track comes ahead of their Reading and Leeds appearances
The Killers have released new single ‘Your Side Of Town’ ahead of their appearances at the Reading and Leeds Festivals this weekend.
Despite teasing the track with black and white snippets that appeared to be from a music video, the single has so far been released as audio only.
You can hear the synth-heavy new song below.

Announcing the single earlier this week the band wrote: “Hello everyone, with much excitement we present you with Your Side of Town. It’s got the ghosts of a lot of synth music that inspired us over the years.
“And yet somehow feels completely our own. Now it’s yours! Turn it up.”
‘Your Side of Town’ is the band’s first release since last year’s standalone single ‘boy’.
The song was written by frontman Brandon Flowers and, like ‘boy’, it was produced by The Killers with Stuart Price and Shawn Everett.

The band had previously told Stereogum that their next album would not necessarily follow on from where 2021’s ‘Pressure Machine’ left off but would go back to the previous year’s ‘Imploding The Mirage’.
They said: “Eight would probably relate more to six. Eight would be not cutting room floor or orphan songs from ‘Imploding The Mirage’, but it would be picking up from where that left off.”
