Jake Bugg added to Teenage Cancer Trust at the Royal Albert Hall concert series
He plays the Thursday night
Jake Bugg has been added to the line-up for the Teenage Cancer Trust at the Royal Albert Hall concert series on Thursday 23rd March 2023.
“I have always been a supporter of Teenage Cancer Trust,” comments Jake Bugg. “It’s an honour to represent TCT at the Albert Hall and I look forward to playing songs from the last decade to celebrate their great work.”
Jake Bugg joins a line-up that already boasts fellow headliners Underworld, Wet Leg, Courteeners and Kasabian. The An Evening of Comedy bill on Tuesday 21st March is still to be announced.
Confirmed support acts are CMAT and Honeyglaze with Wet Leg, Stephen Fretwell with Courteeners, and The Snuts and The K’s with Kasabian.
Teenage Cancer Trust at the Royal Albert Hall tickets:
Tickets to Jake Bugg at the Royal Albert Hall are on sale from Absolute Radio Tickets at 9.30am on Friday 24th February.
All other shows are on sale now but have low availability.
Proceeds from ticket sales go directly to Teenage Cancer Trust, the only UK charity dedicated to providing specialised nursing care and support for young people with cancer.
Roger Daltrey CBE, Teenage Cancer Trust Honorary Patron, and mastermind behind the gigs, said: “The generosity of the people who work in the music and comedy industries never ceases to amaze me. In this, our 21st year, after two years of artists having no shows at all, at a time where the only certain paydays are from live performances, artists are willing to give up their earnings from a London show.”
“It shows us that miracles are everywhere, but if you cough or sneeze you'd miss them! I'm happy to announce the Royal Albert Hall week for Teenage Cancer Trust!”
