The UK’s oldest festival, which turns 52 in 2020, takes place on the hallowed turf of Seaclose Park on the Isle of Wight from Thursday 11th to Sunday 14th June 2020.
Bestowed with the huge honour of co-headlining the Main Stage on the Friday night are bona fide music legend Lionel Richie and Scottish serial chart-conqueror Lewis Capaldi.
Lionel Richie said: “I'm excited to be playing at The Isle of Wight Festival next summer. It's the first time I've performed at the festival and I can't think of a better way to start the summer! It's a festival steeped in music history - Jimi Hendrix, Bob Dylan, The Rolling Stones have all headlined and I'm honoured to be joining the esteemed list! See you all there.”
Lewis added: “Buzzing to be playing The Isle of Wight Festival next year!! Going to try and keep the other day clear so I can get a few scoops in after I play! See ya next year yaaaaaaas.”
The very special guest on Friday is dance music icon Pete Tong, who will be closing proceedings on the Main Stage with an Ibiza Classics set.
Exactly two decades on from their Isle of Wight Festival debut, Snow Patrol will co-headline the Saturday night alongside electronic music trailblazers The Chemical Brothers.
On the Sunday night it’s the turn of the mighty Duran Duran to headline, who will top the Main Stage bill.
