It now takes place next April
Last updated 24th Jul 2020
Recently reunited rock legends Genesis have rescheduled their comeback November and December 2020 UK & Ireland arena tour to April 2021 because of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
Genesis’ The Last Domino? Tour will now open at Glasgow SSE Hydro on Thursday 1st April 2021, and it will be the band’s first live concert since the Turn It On Again: The Tour back in 2007.
In addition to the previously announced shows, Genesis will play a third date at Birmingham Utilita Arena on Wednesday 7th April and a third London The O2 concert on Friday 30th April, which is also the final gig of the trek.
Tickets to the additional London and Birmingham shows are on sale now. Existing tickets for the rescheduled dates will remain valid, and ticket holders will be contacted by their ticket agent.
The current incarnation of Genesis consists of keyboardist Tony Banks, bassist/guitarist Mike Rutherford and singer Phil Collins. The core trio will be joined by Phil Collins’ teenage son Nic on drums, and long-standing guitarist Daryl Stuermer at the upcoming shows.
Genesis’ last live concert took place at The Hollywood Bowl in California on 13th October 2007 as part of their global trek entitled Turn It On Again: The Tour. Their last UK shows were at Twickenham Stadium, Old Trafford Football Stadium and Live Earth London in July of that year.
Genesis are one of the world’s biggest selling and most successful bands of all time. They have sold an estimated 100 million albums and have played to sold-out stadiums and arenas all over the world for decades.
