See it next month!
Foo Fighters’ horror comedy movie Studio 666 has been given a UK & Ireland release date.
Sony Pictures UK are releasing Studio 666 and it will hit cinemas across the UK and Ireland from Friday 25th February 2022.
Foo Fighters’ Dave Grohl, Taylor Hawkins, Nate Mendel, Pat Smear, Chris Shiflett and Rami Jaffee star as themselves in STUDIO 666, which is billed as The Beatles’ Hard Day’s Night meets The Living Dead.
Directed by BJ McDonnell and with script by Jeff Buhler and Rebecca Hughes, STUDIO 666 is based on a story by Dave Grohl.
A synopsis reads: “In Studio 666, Rock & Roll Hall of Famers Foo Fighters move into an Encino mansion steeped in grisly rock history to record their much-anticipated 10th album. Once in the house, Dave Grohl finds himself grappling with supernatural forces that threaten both the completion of the album and the lives of the band.”
Other stars in Studio 666 include Lionel Richie, Slayer’s Kerry King, Whitney Cummings, Leslie Grossman, Will Forte, Jenna Ortega and Jeff Garlin.
First premiered earlier this month, you can watch the two-and-a-half-minute trailer for Foo Fighters’ Studio 666 below, which sees Dave Grohl turns into a demonic figure as all kinds of grisly things start happening at the haunted studio.
