Foo Fighters have premiered the very trippy animated video for their song ‘Chasing Birds.’

The downtempo ‘Chasing Birds’ is the penultimate song on Foo Fighters’ tenth studio album ‘Medicine at Midnight’, which stormed straight in at number one in the UK upon its release in February.

The mind-bending animated video for ‘Chasing Birds’ is set in the desert and features multi-eyed cacti, giant spiders, body parts of Foo Fighters band members melting away and various other visual delights.

Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl has been keeping himself very busy in recent weeks dropping a surprise collaboration with Mick Jagger called ‘Eazy Sleazy’, writing the foreword for a new John Bonham biography, announcing his own memoir The Storyteller: Tales of Life and Music, and premiering the trailer for a new documentary about touring life called What Drives Us.

Airing on Amazon Prime on Friday 30th April, What Drives Us features interviews with an array of big-name musicians including AC/DC’s Brian Johnson, Metallica’s Lars Ulrich, Guns N’ Roses’ Slash and Duff McKagan, Red Hot Chili Peppers’ Flea, U2’s The Edge, Aerosmith’s Steven Tyler, Slayer’s Dave Lombardo, and Beatles legend Ringo Starr.

Foo Fighters also recently rescheduled their European tour dates in Germany, Italy, France, Spain and Portugal for 2022.

The band said: “We look forward to seeing you at the new dates and can’t wait to be able to play for you.”
