Catfish and the Bottlemen are one of the biggest bands to emerge in the UK over the past ten years and a staple on our playlist here at Absolute Radio.

So who better to perform at one of the last Absolute Radio Live... events of the current decade than the Conversation hitmakers themselves.

Before they headed out on stage our very own Danielle Perry caught up with the boys about what we can expect from their next album, but they remained pretty tight lipped and said "it depends where we end up recording and where the producer takes it".

But they did reveal that when they're planning new music, they always "build them (the songs) up to play live" - an experience that no fan of the band should miss out on. This is a band that know how to gig.

Taking to the stage at London's ULU the band - Van McCann, Benji Blakeway and Johnny Bond - performed to an electric crowd.

They kicked their set off with a huge performance of their hit Longshot before launching into a string of crowd pleasers including Kathleen, Soundcheck, Pacifier, Twice and Conversation to name a few.

Huge performances also came in the form of recent hit 2ALL which the crowd lapped up and sung straight back at lead singer Van. Watch the song in full here...
