The BRIT Awards 2025: Vote for your Alternative / Rock Act supported by Absolute Radio

Absolute Radio is extremely proud to be supporting the Alternative / Rock Act category at The BRIT Awards 2025 with Mastercard. The 45th BRIT Awards ceremony takes place at London’s The O2 on Saturday 1st March 2025, and it’s hosted by Jack Whitehall after four long years away.

The nominees for all the main categories were revealed during a livestreamed event earlier in January, including Alternative / Rock Act award promoted by Absolute Radio.

Vying for the prestigious Best Alternative / Rock Act award on the night are bona fide British music legends The Cure, Northeast purveyor of rousing heartland rock anthems Sam Fender, arena-conquering jazz marvels Ezra Collective, chart-topping icons The Last Dinner Party, and folk-tinged indie sensation Beabadoobee.

PLEASE NOTE: Voting has now closed for this year’s BRIT Awards 2025 with Mastercard. The BRIT Awards 2025 take place on Saturday 1st March, where you’ll be able to find out the winners of this category and all other categories!

How to vote for your favourite Alternative / Rock Act at The BRIT Awards 2025:

Voting for the five genre categories at The BRIT Awards 2025 is open to the public and you get to cast your vote on your favourite artists from midday today (31st January)!

The fan-voted awards are Alternative / Rock Act promoted by Absolute Radio, Dance Act promoted by KISS, R&B Act promoted by KISS, Pop Act, and Hip Hop / Grime / Rap Act.

This year, there is one simple way for people to get involved and vote – via the official BRITs Whatsapp channel RIGHT HERE.

You will be able to place one vote per category per day, with votes resetting at midnight GMT.

Voting opens at midday on Friday 31st January and closes on Friday 14th February at 11:59pm. Voting is not restricted by location.

Including Best Alternative / Rock Act, The Last Dinner Party have been nominated in a total of four categories alongside Dua Lipa and Ezra Collective, while Charli xcx leads the charge with five nods.

The Cure’s three nominations are their first at The BRITs in two decades, and The Beatles are nominated for first time since the inaugural BRIT Awards in 1977 with their chart-topping single ‘Now and Then.’
