The 58-year-old musician, who has been a member of Bon Jovi since their inception in 1983, took to Instagram on Saturday (21st March) to reveal his coronavirus diagnosis.

“I’ve have been quarantined for a week and will for another week. And when I feel better I’ll get tested again to make sure I’m free of this nasty virus. Please help out each other. This will be over soon... with the help of every American!!”
David Bryan’s announcement came hours before eponymous Bon Jovi frontman Jon Bon Jovi joined a virtual singalong of ‘Livin’ On A Prayer’ with thousands of Chicago residents at 7pm on Saturday night.
"Hey Chicago, I heard that you guys are about to open up your windows and scream and shout to 'Livin' on a Prayer,'" Jon Bon Jovi said.
"I want you to know that I'm just warming up getting ready to sing along with you. In these trying times, I am with you with all of my heart and my soul, sending my love to everybody in Chicago and across America. Sing it out, baby. We're all going to come through this together. Be strong, I love you."
Last Wednesday, Jon Bon Jovi washed dishes at his Soul Kitchen restaurant in New Jersey, which is serving takeout meals to those in need during the coronavirus crisis.
JBJ Soul Kitchen wrote on Instagram: “If you can’t do what you do... do what you can!”
Bon Jovi’s fifteenth studio album ‘Bon Jovi 2020’ is released on Friday 15th May 2020 via Island Records.
