Biffy Clyro are teasing something
Is their new album on the way?!

Scottish rock titans Biffy Clyro have started cryptically teasing something on social media.
Shortly after 9am this morning (Monday 10th February) an intriguing blank light blue image was posted to the band’s social media channels.
Scant on information, there is no text to accompany the picture and Biffy Clyro’s profile pictures on Instagram and Twitter were also changed to the same blue image.
Although there’s no official word from Biffy Clyro’s camp, it’s highly likely that they’re teasing new music. Either that, or they’re launching their own paint colour range.
Speaking to Absolute Radio’s Danielle Perry backstage at the Q Awards last October, singer Simon Neil confirmed Biffy Clyro’s new studio album “will be out at the start of next year (2020).”
Simon also said they hoped to release a single before the end of 2019, however this didn’t materialise.
Commenting on the Q Awards gig at The Roundhouse, Simon told Danielle: “We had probably our favourite show in a couple of years actually, it was unreal.
“We’ve been in the studio for the past couple of months so to come out of hibernation and kind of reconnect with people was incredible. It was our first indoor show for two years, which I can’t quite believe, so yeah the intensity was quite different but loved it!”
Feature: 23 hotly anticipated albums released in 2020
Last May, Biffy Clyro released the soundtrack album ‘Balance, Not Symmetry’ for the British-American crime movie of the same name.
Their last ‘proper’ studio album, ‘Ellipsis’, came out back in July 2016 and stormed straight in at number one on the Official Album Chart. It spawned the singles ‘Wolves of Winter’, ‘Animal Style’, ‘Re-arrange’ and the Gary Lightbody co-penned ‘Howl’.
