Listen to Biffy Clyro's blistering new track 'End Of'
Another taster of new album 'A Celebration of Endings'
Last updated 6th Mar 2020
As excitement continues to build ahead of the release of their new album ‘A Celebration of Endings’, Biffy Clyro have unleashed a blistering song called ‘End Of’.
Following in the footsteps of the Absolute Radio playlisted anthem ‘Instant History’, ‘End Of’ is a deliciously heavy track that harks back to the caustic and frenetic sounds of early Biffy Clyro.
Simon Neil’s spitting, lovelorn lyrics add to the song’s potency. It opens with the lines “This is not a love song / That was just a phase / Now the sweet’s turned sour / The secure starts to dislocate / Hopelessly devoted, ridiculed by charm / You were the light of my life / And now you’re in the dark.”
Cast your ears on the track right here (WARNING: there are some swear words):
Alongside premiering ‘End Of’, Biffy Clyro have today (6th March) confirmed the track-listing to ‘A Celebration of Endings’. Curiously, they’re yet to reveal a release date.
The track-list for Biffy Clyro’s ‘A Celebration of Endings’ is:
North Of No South
The Champ
Weird Leisure
Tiny Indoor Fireworks
Worst Type Of Best Possible
Space
End Of
Instant History
The Pink Limit
Opaque
Cop Syrup
‘A Celebration of Endings’ is the follow-up to 2016’s ‘Ellipsis’ and Biffy Clyro’s 2019 soundtrack album ‘Balance, Not Symmetry’.
According to Biffy Clyro’s label Warner Bros., ‘A Celebration of Endings’ sees Biffy Clyro “push everything they do best to the next level.”
Biffy Clyro’s Simon Neil, James Johnston and Ben Johnston officially launched our brand-new station Absolute Radio 20s last week and ‘Instant History’ was the very first song played on air.
Fingers crossed there are some Biffy Clyro UK tour dates in the pipeline very soon!
