Former Oasis drummer Alan White has dropped a strong hint that he’s part of the legendary Manchester band’s reunion.
When Noel and Liam Gallagher announced last week Oasis were reuniting for a colossal summer 2025 UK & Ireland tour, no further details were revealed about the other band members.
Various tabloids have reported that co-founding guitarist Paul ‘Bonehead’ Arthurs will be hitting the road with Oasis next year, however this hasn’t been officially confirmed.
Who's playing drums on the Oasis 2025 tour?
On Saturday evening (31st August), former drummer Alan White appeared to tease his involvement when he posted a caption-less photo of a bass drum emblazoned with a swirling Union Jack flag.
52-year-old Alan White joined Oasis in April 1995 in place of founding drummer Tony McCarroll.
White made his recording debut on the band’s seminal second album ‘(What’s the Story) Morning Glory?’, and he performed drums on all tracks except lead single ‘Some Might Say.’
He enjoyed a ten-year tenure with the band during their commercial peak before being replaced by Zak Starkey, drummer of The Who and son of The Beatles' drummer Ringo Starr, in 2004.
Earlier today (2nd September), the Government promised a review of "in demand" ticket pricing, after some Oasis fans saw costs more than double during Saturday's sale.
