Absolute Radio's Jon Richardson and Matt Forde will co-host the night
Last updated 30th Sep 2024
One of THE best nights on the comedy calendar - Absolute Radio Live - will be back at the iconic London Palladium this autumn.
Absolute Radio’s Jon Richardson and Matt Forde will be co-hosting a brilliant night of comedy on Sunday 17th November.
Also confirmed for Absolute Radio Live are Dara Ó Briain, Phil Wang, Judi Love, The Last Leg’s Josh Widdicombe, Live at the Apollo star Suzi Ruffell and The Dave Berry Breakfast Show’s very own Glenn Moore.
As ever, the night will also raise funds for a hugely deserving cause and this year it’s the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital Charity.
Matt Forde recently became an ambassador for The RNOH charity after receiving life-saving care at the hospital following his cancer diagnosis.
Speaking on the Absolute Radio Breakfast Show, Matt told Dave Berry and the rest of the team, ‘It’s a national hospital, so anyone in the country could get referred there and it’s one of the best orthopaedic hospitals in the world.
“Hopefully none of us ever have to go there, but I did and my recovery would not have gone the way it did without the support of that charity. It’s a privilege that this night at the Palladium will raise money for them - this charity saved my life and it may well save yours one day.’
With more names set to be announced, tickets are on sale Friday 13th September at 9am

About the RNOH charity:
The charity supports the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital (RNOH). Its mission is to improve the patient experience for everyone, enhancing care with state-of-the-art equipment, better buildings and funding for world-class research. These are improvements that are beyond the limitations of an NHS budget but which provide transformative advances for the thousands of patients who come to RNOH for treatment each year.
RNOH specialises in neuro-musculoskeletal (MSK) conditions, which affect more than 20 million people in the UK. That’s one in three of us! From back-pain to chronic arthritis, these problems can affect joints, bones and muscles, and sometimes associated tissues, such as our nerves. They can range from minor injuries to painful, long-term problems. Symptoms can be anything from stiffness and sore muscles to limited movement and even disability that can go on to affect independence and quality of life.
With your support the charity can help ensure that every adult and child who comes to RNOH for treatment receives the best possible care.
